Packing Supplies for Immediate Distribution

Second Harvest Food Bank has partnered with MedAssist to provide over the counter medications for seniors in our community. We need your help to ensure the product distributed is sorted, date checked and in good shape as well as to pack Care Bags for Seniors. NC MedAssist is a nonprofit pharmacy providing access to lifesaving prescription medications, patient support, advocacy, and related services to vulnerable and uninsured North Carolina residents. Volunteers must be over 16 to participate in this event. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Due to current concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are encouraging anyone who feels sick, is elderly, or may have a preexisting condition to not participate in this event. We value your individual health greatly. Parking is available on-site in front of the NC MedAssist facility. Please enter through the Store.
