Help Make Blankets for Children in Need in Wake County

Come help make blankets with Project Linus that will provide comfort to children in Wake County. The Project Linus Chapter of Wake County, NC was started in 1996. Over 45,000 blankets have been delivered to many local groups and agencies that help seriously ill or traumatized children including: Safe Space (for children of abused women receiving support), Hospice (for their Reflections program for grieving children and teens), Make a Wish Foundation, the children at Salvation Army, Children's Flight of Hope, and Wake County Social Services. All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is available in the parking lot at Temple Beth Or on Creedmoor Rd. Please contact the host at the email provided with any questions.
