Be a Nurse's Helper - help & encourage patients

Have you wanted to help someone in physical need? Come work alongside doctors and nurses at the Community Health Services of Union County (CHSUC) to care for people with healthcare needs. You will have a chance to pray with patients, assist with administrative tasks and check patients into the clinic. Together with other volunteers, you will have the chance to be the hands and feet of Christ. CHSUC helps provide diabetes-related education and community services to uninsured residents of Union County, NC. They are having a huge impact right here in our own community, not only treating patients with diabetes, but also educating patients on how to live a healthier lifestyle through changed behaviors. We ask that volunteers be at least 18 years old, due to the nature of responsibilities. Parking is available immediately adjacent to the building.
