ELCM Retail Store Assistance

Do you enjoy and have a talent for helping to organize and/or attractively displaying resale items? East Lincoln Christian Ministry (ELCM) provides a variety of services to individuals and families who need a hand up during a time of crisis, including a resale closet that offers affordably priced clothing, housewares, and furniture. Through your volunteer work, you will be helping to provide support to help those in our community who are desperately in need of finding stability and hope. ELCM need volunteers who really enjoy inspecting, sorting and organizing community donations, as well maintaining attractive displays of resale items in "The Closet". The Closet is the main source of funding for the organization, and operates several days a week with the assistance of volunteers just like you! The ministry will provide snacks and drinks for willing volunteers that will jump in and lend a hand sorting, organizing and keeping the store clean during open retail hours. Volunteers can also choose to restock items after the store closes. This is a family friendly event. The ministry asks that anyone under age 16 be accompanied and monitored by a responsible adult. Parking is available in the gravel lot next to the ministry (look for the "Volunteer Entrance" sign). Come join us as we make a difference for people in the community who are in need!
