Volunteer with Bookworms at Crisis Assistance Ministry

The gift of an education is priceless - and reading is a principle component in that! At Promising Pages, our mission is to offer kids a fair chance at life by giving them the tools they need to succeed at an early age. Those tools are books, a love of reading, and a healthy self-esteem that comes with book ownership. We are so grateful for your willingness to serve alongside of us as we strive to reach our One Million Book goal. We will be passing out wrapped books as presents to children waiting with their families at Crisis Assistance Ministry. We will read one-on-one with the children, while encouraging them to love books and to be a bookworm! We ask that you arrive 10-20 minutes before the event start time to find parking on-site and then proceed to the Volunteer doors to sign-in. We start right at 10:30 AM and we are usually finished by 11:30 AM. This event is for ages 11 and up. For more information, contact the host at the email provided. See you there!
