Love Weekend - Beds 4 Kids Warehouse

We have the opportunity to help support a wonderful Elevation Outreach Partner, Beds 4 Kids (B4K) by helping at their warehouse as they prepare to deliver furniture to families in need. Bed for Kids (B4K) refurbishes and repurposes new and gently used beds/essential furniture items that have been donated from individuals, institutions and corporations. This furniture is then distributed to families in need. On average they are able to provide furniture for about 40 families per month! At the warehouse, we will be helping sort and clean furniture, as well as pull orders for the upcoming deliveries. We also need a few volunteers that are handy with tools to help sand, cut and paint....Tim Allen (from Home Improvement) style! We ask that you leave children 2 years old or younger at home, as there will not be childcare. Wear appropriate clothing; the warehouse has no heat. Close-toed shoes are highly recommended. Parking is available in the front lot. We can't wait to serve with you!
