Safe Journey - Fall Festival

The Festival will be at Covenant Presbyterian Church. This event will feature BLOCK fest, an evidence based traveling exhibit that exposes children and parents to "block play," as a way to promote science and math concepts. We will be offering free health screenings provided by pediatric nurses. Mothers who are pregnant or have babies under 6 months will participate in an infant massage class and "HUG Your Baby" (sensory integration, reading your babies cues). All will participate in a Fall Festival with games and prizes for the best mother child costumes. Volunteers will assist mothers during BLOCK FEST, and with Fall Festival games and prizes. Volunteers can either serve from 8-12 or 12-3. Or if you can serve for the entire day, that would be a great help! We ask that volunteers be ages 13 and up. Parking is available onsite. Questions?
