Beautifying the Healing Garden at Hospice of Cabarrus County

Help us beautify the Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County’s healing garden. Hospice is a special way of caring for people who are living with life-limiting illnesses, while caring for their families and caregivers. Their healing garden is designed as a peaceful space for kids who are grieving to share their experiences and feel safe. The area is often used by Hospice’s certified child grief counselor to work with children one-on-one. We will be painting a trellis, bird bath, and gate; staining a teak bench; replacing lightbulbs and assembling a picnic table with an umbrella. The garden is located at the Hospice office. This is a family friendly event for all volunteers. You can park at the office and reach out to the host for more information. See you there.
