Lunch Delivery to Elderly

Meals on Wheels has been giving our community’s most vulnerable citizens their independence by serving healthy meals to the elderly and those with disabilities. Volunteers will pick up the meals at the Meals on Wheels office near the NCSU campus and drive to downtown Raleigh and the deliver meals. After the meals have been delivered, then carrier containers will be returned to the Meals on Wheels office. Volunteers should be able to physically lift 20 lbs. and must provide their own transportation. Routes will be assigned in teams of two so children are welcome as long as one person has a valid driver's license. Please contact the host at the email provided with any questions.
