Sewing Dresses for Dress A Girl Around the World

Join us as we sew simple dresses for girls around the world to benefit the Hope 4 Women International - Dress A Girl Around the World program. The mission of Dress A Girl Around the World is to present girls living in poverty with a new dress to show them they have value and to share God's love. By wearing a dress made with the official Dress A Girl Around the World label, it shows possible predators that each girl is under the care of an organization, giving her added protection from those who may harm, enslave, or prey on her. Some sewing experience is preferred and ages 10 and up please. Located in the library area of COS kids in downtown Matthews. Parking is available on site along N. Ames Street or on Charles Street. Enter through the garden gate on Charles Street. Please Contact the host with any questions or if you would like to bring your own sewing machine.
