Holiday Central organizing at A Child's Place

We’re in need of Holiday Central volunteers! Members of the Charlotte community sponsor families from A Child’s Place (ACP) for the holidays and will be dropping the items off at Holiday Central, held at ACP. To ensure our students receive all of their gift items, we need your help accepting sponsor donations, sorting gift packages, organizing materials to send home with families, and preparing gifts for family pick-up. A Child's Place works to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education. They support children, families, schools and the community by intervening at the point of crisis when a family loses their home. ACP is there in time of emergency to help stabilize the child and family so they can begin to rebuild their lives. They also work in partnership with the public schools to identify, enroll and work with children and families who are in the homelessness crisis. Parking is on site. Age 16+ please.
