Bookworms at Crisis Assistance Ministry

Join us as we pass out wrapped books to children waiting with their families at Crisis Assistance Ministry and read with the children to encourage them to discover a love for reading. At Promising Pages, our mission is to level the playing field and offer all kids a fair chance at life by giving them the tools they need to succeed at an early age. Those tools are books, a love of reading, and a healthy self-esteem that comes with book ownership. Children over 8 are welcome and must be supervised by a parent at all times. Volunteers should arrive early to find parking and then proceed to the volunteer doors to sign in. Please contact the host at the email provided with any questions.
