Serving Breakfast for Girl Scouts

Help the Girl Scouts Hornets' Nest Council with supporting the homeless in Mecklenburg County! On any given night, there are over 2,000 people experiencing homelessness in Mecklenburg County. The 3rd Annual Cardboard Campout will help girls understand the causes of homelessness and the experiences someone facing homelessness may experience on a daily basis. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve breakfast, following the overnight camp out. Through community involvement and exploration, the Girls Scouts are building girls of courage, confidence and character throughout our eight county footprint.
