Preparing Books for a Brighter Future

At Promising Pages, our mission is to level the playing field and offer all kids a fair chance at life by giving them the tools they need to succeed at an early age. Those tools are books, a love of reading, and a healthy self-esteem that comes with book ownership. We are so grateful for your willingness to serve alongside of us as we strive to reach our One Million Book goal. We are always looking for volunteers to help at our Operation Center to process the books that come in. We will clean, stamp, sort, and wrap books! Wear close-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Children 6+ are welcome with a parent. Promising Pages is located inside Carolina Business Interiors Warehouse at 4020 Yancey Rd. Charlotte. We also want to encourage you to bring along some old books you never use anymore, but this is not mandatory. Please contact the host at the email provided with any questions. Please be aware we can not allow anyone without closed-toed shoes OR under the age of 6 into the warehouse due to safety regulations.
