GSO Tornado Response Team - Disaster Relief / Clean Up

A tornado came through the Greensboro area on Sunday, April 15 that left considerable damage, including toppled trees and destroyed homes. One of our outreach partners, Samaritan's Purse, is on the ground providing assistance with the clean up and relief efforts. Join us as we partner with this organization to help with debris cleanup and house repair. We will be meeting at the host church (address provided) for an orientation before heading out into the community for our project. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older (if between the ages of 14-17 they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). Make sure to eat lunch before you arrive. Please wear long pants, work shoes, and sunscreen. Contact the host at the email provided with any questions!
