Baking and Gardening for a Hospice in Kitchener

Do you like to bake? Do you enjoy the smell of freshly made baked goods?! We need volunteers to bake goods in the Hospice kitchen in Kitchener for the residents who are living at the hospice and their families who come to visit. All supplies will be provided and you don't need expert knowledge to be a part this! If baking is not your thing, no problem! The Hospice is surrounded by beautiful gardens and they need a little tender love and care to make them stunning for the residence and their families. We also need volunteers to put some work into the lovely gardens surrounding the Hospice. All supplies will be provided and you don't need expert knowledge to be a part this! Lisaard is a not-for-profit organization in Kitchener, with six bedrooms, that provides quality end-of-life palliative care for residents with cancer. Lisaard House in Kitchener welcomes in residents at no charge into the home-like environment offering them and their families the support they need during this difficult stage of life. There is free parking onsite. This event is for ages 16 and up; volunteers will need to sign a waiver to be a part of this event (which will be provided to you prior to the event).
