Ice Cream Social with Urban Promise Students

Join us as we serve an ice cream social to students from Urban Promise- Camp Joy. This fun event is to celebrate "El Día de los niños" which is a Mexican holiday in order to celebrate the children. Urban Promise will be having some fun activities with the kids throughout the day, and we will wrap this event up with an awesome ice cream social. Urban Promise reaches younger children through after school and summer programs while also raising high school leaders who are employed as mentors in these programs. Their ultimate goal is to restore community as a new generation of young leaders affects social, economic, and spiritual revitalization in their neighborhoods and the city of Charlotte.
