Back to School with Hope 4 Gaston

Help families gather what they need for students as they head back to school with Hope 4 Gaston! Volunteers will interact with the Closet of Hope clients at Hope 4 Gaston. There will be opportunities to help the families load cars, pray, talk and interact, all while showing Jesus' Love and kindness in action. Volunteers will be working directly with clients and staff of Hope 4 Gaston. Hope 4 Gaston provides gently used clothing, beginning at age 2 through adult, to referred individuals and families. Clothing is made available through donations and the support of volunteers that desire to help individuals and families that are income disadvantaged in the local and greater Gaston County area. Hope 4 Gaston believes in leading a cooperative effort of churches, local government and businesses to create a community of people who through the giving and receiving of assistance will be inspired to “love your neighbor as yourself”. This event is for adults 18 and older that are not enrolled in k-12 schools who are willing to talk and interact with families visiting the Closet of Hope. Parking is available onsite.
