MARA - Special Needs Baseball - Bambino Buddy Ball

The Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association (MARA) hosts a baseball league for athletes with special needs. Each Spring from late March to early June, the MARA Bambino Buddy Ball Program provides a fun and safe environment for kids to learn about baseball and play the game. Games start at 2:30pm and typically last 60-90 minutes. Volunteers are needed to help athletes to and from the parking lot, setup and cleanup equipment, be a Buddy to an athlete, as needed, and to provide support and prayer to athletes and their families. Buddies need to be 12 years or older, however, younger volunteers can assist with other tasks. Please park in the Main parking lot in spaces closer to the road and contact event host with any questions. Dave will reach out to you with the entire season schedule so you can plan accordingly.
