Thanksgiving Food Boxes Delivery

The holidays are a great time to spend with loved ones and to also give back to our community. Join us as we partner with A Child's Place to help some amazing students and their families have a Happy Thanksgiving!! We will deliver Thanksgiving food boxes to the students at the schools that ACP supports. At Child’s Place their mission is to support children, families, schools and the community by intervening at the point of crisis when a family loses their home. A Child’s Place serves as the EMT, there at the time of the emergency to help stabilize the child and family so they can begin to rebuild their lives. Our work is primarily done through a school-year model. Anyone over the age of 18 can participate in this event. This event is located at A Child's Place offices at 601 E. 5th St. Suite 230, Charlotte NC. Parking is available in the visitor lot off of E. 5th Street, next to the Children & Family Services Services Center. There is a bar at the entrance, but it will open if you pull up to it. A token from the security desk will allow you to exit. If the lot is full, there is street parking and daily lots around the corner. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited. Please report to security and sign in as an A Child's Place visitor. The security on staff can then direct you to the office in Suite 230. Please contact the host for more details.
