Building Enhancements at Children's Home Society

Join us for a fun day of easy maintenance work at CHS headquarters! These minor updates will help keep the space looking great as they host foster families for training and many other activities. We will be painting a number of walls and placing a chair rail on some of the walls. All work will be indoors and does not require experienced carpenters or painters. Children's Home Society of NC meets the complex needs of NC's children and families by providing a broad spectrum of programs and services. Best known for adoption services, CHS also provides post adoption services, foster care, parenting education, family preservation, teen pregnancy prevention and family finding services. Last year CHS served more than 20,000 children and families who needed assistance in North Carolina. Volunteers age 10 and older are welcome to join this event and parking is available onsite.
