On the Road with Cafe To-Grow at Lansdowne

Feeding America's summer lunch program, Cafe To-Grow, will be at the NAACP Health Fair located in Roanoke's largest housing project, Lansdowne. Café to Grow is a part of the Summer Food Service Program, an initiative by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ensure low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Volunteers will be serving on the food truck as well as providing crafts and face painting to the children of Lansdowne. Volunteers must be over the age of 16. Please wear your Love Week shirt, closed toed shoes, and pants. Parking will be available on the street.
