Sorting at Second Harvest Food Bank

People go to sleep hungry across our city every night. The Second Harvest Food Bank exists to combat hunger by providing food to other food banks all over Charlotte! Join us at Second Harvest Food Bank to help sort and organize food and other items provided by local businesses that will be distributed to hungry families. You could be packing backpacks, sorting canned goods, or inspecting and organizing food items. Before you know it, you will have helped move tons of food to those who need it most! This is a working warehouse so you must be at least 17 yrs old and accompanied by an adult to participate. Closed toe shoes are required. Please arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you are checked in as a brief training session will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Parking is available on-site.
