Serving at the Annual Walk for Life at the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Gastonia

Come be a part of the largest pro-life gathering in Gaston County! Even if you can't be there the entire time, sign-up and be there as soon as you can and stay for as long as you can! Volunteers will help serve food and drinks, interact with other walk participants, light the luminaries around the walking track and help clean up the luminary bags at the end. Each luminary represents a life saved through the work at the CPC. The annual CPC Walk for Life is one of the fundraisers that support this ministry. Believers from all denominations and backgrounds join together as ONE to Choose Life! The Spirit of God is present in the time of music and praise as people walk laps and participate in other fun family-friendly activities like face painting, rock wall climbing, slides and much more. Participants also enjoy free hotdogs, drinks and slushies. The money that is raised enables the Crisis Pregnancy Center to continue the front line task of answering the call from so many hopeless, being there with free services, and sharing the compassion of Jesus Christ. The Crisis Pregnancy Center is a nonprofit pro-life organization of committed Christians sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and actively helping women, men and families in crisis pregnancy situations. By being supported by individuals, churches, and the local community, they are able to provide services free of charge. This is a family friendly event. Parking is available on-site.
