Bookworms at Crisis Assistance Ministry

At Promising Pages, our mission is to level the playing field and offer all kids a fair chance at life by giving them the tools they need to succeed at an early age. Those tools are books, a love of reading, and a healthy self-esteem that comes with book ownership. We are so grateful for your willingness to serve alongside of us as we strive to reach our One Million Book goal. We will be passing out wrapped books as presents to children waiting with their families at Crisis Assistance Ministry. We will read one on one with the children while encouraging them to love books and to be a bookworm. Children over 8 are welcome, they must come with a parent and be supervised at all times. Volunteers should arrive early to find parking and then proceed to the volunteer doors to sign in. We start right at 9:00 and we are usually finished by 10:00.
